Camilla took over Massimago in her twenties and hasn’t looked back, bringing a bold, fresh perspective to the wines of Valpolicella. A champion of organic farming, Camilla lets each vintage do its thing, and she’s built a team of badass women, trusted her gut, and carved out a space that feels both deeply grounded and completely her own. A quiet powerhouse who lets the wine and the work do the talking.

The name Massimago comes from the Latin Maximum Agium, meaning “maximum wellness”. The estate’s been in Camilla’s family for generations, originally just growing grapes, but she took things to the next level when she started bottling under her own label in the early 2000s. Everything’s organic, hand-harvested, and made with minimal intervention, nestled in the hills just outside Verona. And with olive groves, forests, and natural waterways all around the vineyard, the whole place is just humming with life.
