Though lighter on the palate than the nose gives away, this 2021 vintage, big red carries it’s weight through tertiary characteristics of dried figs, prunes and raisins, cigar box, smoke and menthol, which is beautifully reflective of its 60 year-old bush vines, indigenous to Utiel Requena in Spain.
