The complexity of flavours here really demands you pay full attention. Aside from the fruits, there’s some chocolate on the nose, as well as some aged notes of prosciutto, porcini and tobacco. Give it plenty of air if opening in the 2020s, and pair with a rich red meat dish, but ideally keep this special wine for a decade or two.
