- Traditional Sparkling
- Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
- Yarra Valley, VIC
- Caroline Mooney | Zonzo Estate
Wine Description
Grown in the folds of the Yarra Valley, this blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir leans charmingly elegant. Chardonnay brings the line and lift while Pinot Noir lends power. Almond, orange citrus, green apple, chalk, a brush of red berry. Three years in bottle have added depth without dulling its brightness. Made méthode traditionnelle, and recently awarded Best Sparkling at the 2024 Victorian Wine Show. Very. Good!
About the Winemaker
- Non-Traditional Sparkling
- Gamay and Grolleau
- Touraine Montlouis-Sur-Loire Loire, FR
- Lise + Bertrand Jousset | Domaine Jousset
Wine Description
Organically farmed Gamay and Grolleau... FIZZ. Refreshingly bright and full of pleasure, Éxilé opens with a soft funky-herby-floral lift, then rolls into something sweeter.. raspberry skin, rose petals, ripe pear, crisp orange zest, and honeycomb... a creamy bead and gentle mineral tension hold it together like a nice cosy hug. Lise and Bertrand Jousset are masters of this form.. treating pét-nat not as an afterthought, but as a craft in itself.
About the Winemaker
- Light White
- Vermentino, Friulano and Pinot Gris
- Alpine Valleys, VIC
- Erin Pooley | Little Frances
Wine Description
Bright, open, Sorella is a Mediterranean-leaning blend with Vermentino at its heart, lifted by floral, textural Pinot Grigio and a little Friulano. Citrus blossom, just-ripe orchard fruit, a wash of clean acid that runs long and easy. It’s fresh, friendly, maybe even a bit flirty. Made by Erin Pooley in the Alpine Valleys of North East Victoria, bottled light, and finished with a screw cap for good times on the go. A new house favourite, and quite possibly yours too.
About the Winemaker
- Medium White
- Chenin Blanc
- Montlouis-Sur Loire, FR
- Laura David | Laura David
Wine Description
L’insolente feels alive in the glass. A Chenin Blanc that comes from sandy, quartz-rich soils in Montlouis-sur-Loire, carrying the salt and sun of its home. Bruised apple, pear, and white peach drift through the palate, threaded with hints of mandarin, preserved lemon and beeswax. The lemony acidity cuts clean, keeping everything nice and lively. Dry, natural, delicious.
About the Winemaker
- Light Medium White
- Chardonnay
- Margaret River, WA
- Eloise Jarvis + Glenn Goodall | La Kooki
Wine Description
Sourced from Gingin clone Chardonnay in Wallcliffe and Karridale, this beautiful Chardonnay is whole-bunch pressed and wild fermented in fine French oak. The profile is savoury… detailed even, marked by the subtle presence of stone fruit, citrus, and baked apple... the influence of coastal stones and lees stirring adds mineral depth and makes for a wonderfully creamy mid-palate. Racy, rich, structured, full of energy.
About the Winemaker
- Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Riesling
- Adelaide Hills, SA
- Sarah Marrocco | Vinteloper
Wine Description
Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Riesling walk into a winery and.... we get 'Skins', a supremely gorgeous and juicy skin-contact blend that screams Summer! Pineapple, rosewater and Turkish delight, a little ginger heat, and a finish that snaps tight with Riesling’s citrusy crunch. It’s textural and mouth-filling thanks to time on skins, but still light on its feet. This is Vinteloper’s Black Label playground in full swing: minimal intervention, no fining, and plenty of fun. Made from fruit across the Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley.
About the Winemaker
- Heavy White, Orange
- Carricante
- Mt Etna, IT
- Alice Bonaccorsi | Val Cerasa
Wine Description
Bright yellow with golden highlights, this Carricante is dry and structured with a beautiful minerality. Aromas of banana and bread crust are balanced by fresh acidity and a lingering, aromatic close. Vinified solely in stainless steel and aged for seven years before release, it’s a considered expression of Etna’s turbulent volcanic soils.
About the Winemaker
- Rosé, Chilled Red
- Riesling and Pinot Noir
- Mount Alexander, VIC, Macedon Ranges, VIC
- Loïque Allain + Chris Dilworth | Dilworth + Allain
Wine Description
Not quite a rosé, not quite a red... La Rosa lives somewhere in between. A blend of pressed Riesling juice from Dash Farm and pressed Pinot Noir from Doug’s Vineyard, it’s darker than your average rosé but also lighter than your average red. There's lift, crunch, and a good amount of savoury grip. Cooked strawberry, orange rind and candied rhubarb lead the nose, while the palate walks a tightrope of juicy red fruit and tonic-like freshness. Enjoy chilled!
About the Winemaker
- Light Red
- Pinot Noir
- North Coast, TAS
- Sierra Blair | Ghost Rock
Wine Description
The 2024 Ghost Rock Pinot Noir shows just how expressive Tasmania’s north coast can be - even in a warm year. Ripe red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry lead, backed by subtle tannins and layers of spice. Sourced from Ghost Rock’s La Filles, Oulton, and Bonadale blocks (the same sites behind their single-vineyard wines), this vintage blends eight clones of Pinot Noir from Australia, California, Dijon, and New Zealand. A true coastal Tasmanian Pinot.
About the Winemaker
- Light Chilled Medium Red
- Grenache and Syrah
- Batroun, LEB
- Claudine Lteif and Michelle Chami | Heya Wines
Wine Description
Named after the Arabic word for treasure, Kanz is a carbonic macerated blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%) from the mountains of Batroun, Lebanon. It’s a chillable red packed with dried florals, juicy red plum, cherry, a touch of spice and some funk on the nose. Light and dry, a bit chalky, Kanz is all about texture and balance. Crafted by Claudine Lteif and Michelle Chami using organic, hands-on farming and native yeasts, it’s a wine that reflects both land and labour.. and tastes even better knowing the entire process was handled by an all-women team, right down to the label on the glass.
About the Winemaker
- Medium Red
- Cabernet Sauvignon
- Ningxia, CHI
- Emma Gao | Silver Heights
Wine Description
Bordeaux via Ningxia. A bold yet refined red from one of China’s most acclaimed estates blending 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot. Grown at 1,200m on the eastern slopes of the Helan Mountains, the fruit benefits from warm, dry days and cool desert nights, resulting in deep concentration and lifted aromatics. Ripe cherry, plum and hawthorn-layered blackcurrant, cooling mint, oak spice and even a bit of dried tobacco. Smooth, structured, superbly savoury... it’s rich without being heavy. Grapes are handpicked, cold-soaked, and wild-fermented before ageing in a mix of French oak and stainless steel. A striking example of how far Chinese wine has come!
About the Winemaker
- Medium Red
- Malbec
- Trespoux-Rassiels, Cahors, FR
- Maya Sallée + Nicholas Fernandez | Domaine la Calmette
Wine Description
Malbec often gets boxed in as big and brooding, but this one flips the script on that entirely. Trespotz is grown high in the hills of Cahors, where cooler temps and limestone soils bring brightness and structure to balance all that plush, juicy fruit. Made from 90% Malbec and 10% Merlot, it’s a blend of all three soil types found on the domaine (red clay, marl, and kimmeridgian) hence the name Trespotz (three wells). Lip-smacking red fruit, gentle spice, a mineral shimmer. A total joy to drink.
