- Traditional Sparkling
- Chardonnay and Pinot Noir
- Ningxia, CHI
- Emma Gao | Silver Heights
Wine Description
A pink-orange shimmer, like pressed petals held up to the sun. Ample lift, and not just from the pétillance... this is desert-fringed Ningxia (China!) in a glass... high plains sun, cool desert nights...but what really sets this 'pét-nat' apart is what’s quietly threaded through it: rice wine. You don’t see that every day. In fact, you almost never do. Chardonnay takes the lead here, grown lean and mineral in the foothills of the Helan Mountains. 20% Pinot Noir lends that beautiful juicy red fruit... And then - the curveball: rice wine, folded in to spark fermentation and bring its own texture, a wild and nutty salinity. Notes of honeydew and brown pear on the breeze, banana flower and cereal grain in the undertow. A rice husk-like cereal depth with some spice and earthiness.
About the Winemaker
- Non-Traditional Sparkling
- Riesling
- Tumbarumba, NSW
- Mem Hemmings | MEREDITH
Wine Description
A naturally made fizzy Riesling from cool-climate Tumbarumba, full of citrus, white blossom and green apple crunch... A layer of pear skin and cardamom soda on the finish. The high altitude and cool nights stretch ripening and lock in acidity, giving the wine its brightness. Wild fermented, hand-harvested, unfiltered, unfined. The second ferment kicks off naturally, no sulphur added. Nothing's rushed here.
About the Winemaker
- Light White
- Riesling
- Rheingau, GER
- Eva Fricke | Weingut Eva Fricke
Wine Description
This is dry Riesling with quiet power ... all lime, green apple, white peach and stony sediment, carried by mouth-watering acidity and a crystalline finish that just won’t quit. The cool Rheingau slopes and slate-rich soils give the wine its tensile minerality and lift. A flicker of flint and a hint of natural spritz make this an all class Riesling.
About the Winemaker

- Chenin Blanc
- Elgin, Swartland, RSA
- Samantha Suddons | Vine Venom
Wine Description
A Chenin Blanc like you’ve never met before. This third edition of 'Silence' brings together flor-aged wines from 2020–2023...Think stewed yellow apples, ripe bosc pear, pickled ginger, and leesy sourdough on the nose. The palate is layered and creamy, with apricot and yellow apple, a subtle buttery-toffee thread, and a playful weave of cinnamon and ginger spice. Punchy acidity and a saline finish keep it nice and taut... 'Silently' growing in nuance with every release. I just love it.

About the Winemaker
- Light White, Orange
- Grüner Veltliner
- Göttlesbrunn, AUT
- Christina Netzl | Christina
Wine Description
This hazy, organic white is made by Christina Netzl in Carnuntum.. a beautiful region that stretches eastward from Vienna to Austria’s border with Slovakia, where Grüner Veltliner holds onto its natural freshness and green-tinged charm. In the glass you'll come across golden apple, ripe kiwi, lemon peel and honeydew, layered with gentle saltiness and a soft yeasty hum. Bone dry, but boring? Not in the slightest. Wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, it’s Grüner with texture and energy. The colourful bugs on the label aren’t just cute; they’re a nod to the healthy vineyard microbiome. Christina began farming organically in 2013 and hasn’t looked back. Honest wines from happy vines? Yes please!
About the Winemaker
- Rosé
- Pinot Noir and Shiraz
- Adelaide Hills, SA
- Sarah Marrocco | Vinteloper
Wine Description
A milestone in a bottle... this is the first fully estate-grown wine from Vinteloper since the devastating Cudlee Creek fires of 2019. Crafted from 90% Shiraz (pressed like a white wine) and 10% Pinot Noir, this dry rosé is crisp, bright, and quietly complex. It opens with aromas of tropical fruit, white peach, mango and a pinch of white pepper. The palate is all juicy apple, honeydew, and green papaya with a citrusy oiliness that adds intrigue and length.
About the Winemaker
- Chilled Light Red
- Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir
- Central Otago, NZ
- Sarah Adamson + Greg Lane | Scout Wines
Wine Description
An ode to Beaujolais, via Bannockburn and Lowburn. This playful blend of Pinot Noir and just a splash of Pinot Gris brings all the crunchy red energy you want in a chilled Summer red. Ripe raspberry, pomegranate and blueberry brightness meet florals, spice, and a flicker of something herbal. Silky but snappy. Plush but light on its feet. Whole bunch, destemmed, carbonic – all the techniques in the mix, and you can taste it: juicy upfront, with a little grip and bounce on the finish. Raised in old oak, bottled unfussy. Serve it cool and don’t overthink it.
About the Winemaker
- Light Red
- Pinot Noir
- West Gippsland, VIC
- Adriana D’Amico + Al Johnson | Bandicoot Run
Wine Description
Pinot grown at the edge of the West Gippsland ranges... cool-climate country where mist rolls in, the soil holds moisture, and everything ripens at its own pace. 2023 gave Adriana and Al a calm, slow vintage, and this wine reflects that ease: light on its feet but gently and unexpectedly layered. Think bright red cherry, pomegranate, a dusting of spice, and this cool, gravelly edge that feels like rain on warm stone. There’s a little snap from the whole bunch and a little wildness from the carbonic ferments. Fermented clone-by-clone, raised in old barrels, bottled on-site with barely a nudge. One of their best yet.
About the Winemaker
- Light Red
- Tempranillo
- Rioja, SP
- Janire Moraza | Bodegas Moraza
Wine Description
A pure expression of Rioja Tempranillo, the San Vicente shows what’s possible when biodynamic farming meets old-vine fruit and hands-off winemaking. Grown in the high-altitude village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra, this wine is all about freshness, energy, and clarity. Almost blue-hued in the glass, it opens with lifted aromatics of blueberry, potpourri, black cherry, and spice. The palate is vibrant and mineral, with a delicate crunch, soft-grip tannins, and a clean finish that carries notes of sour cherry, fennel, and raspberry. Fermented and aged entirely in concrete, this is a bright, mid-weight red that ditches the oak in favour of fruit purity and regional identity. A modern Rioja made the old way, how charming!
About the Winemaker
- Heavy Red
- Nebbiolo
- Valtellina, IT
- Elena di Meago | Azienda Agricola Dossi Retici
Wine Description
Grown high in the Rhaetian Alps, this alpine Nebbiolo is a powerful yet graceful wine from terraced vineyards aged up to 90 years. A blend of local Nebbiolo biotypes with touches of Rossola and Brugnola, it shows a glowing orange-red hue, with aromas of dried cherry, alpine herbs, and rose. Fermented with wild yeasts and aged for four years in large oak and concrete, it’s certainly full-bodied and firmly tannic, yet finishes with a gentle sweetness. A true mountain wine!
About the Winemaker
- Medium Red
- Grenache, Shiraz and Cinsault
- Côtes du Rhône, FR
- Mireille, Magali + Melanie Fabre | Domaine Tour Saint Michel
Wine Description
‘HérédiTerre’ is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah that shows beautifully what the southern Rhône does best: ripe red fruits, liquorice, a touch of spice, and earthy undergrowth that speaks of sun-warmed hills. Deep purple in the glass, this gorgeous red is silky on the palate with fresh, juicy energy and well-rounded tannins that keep it lively. A Rhône classic for sure!
