Theodora is wild, charming, and rebellious as ever. A spirited white from natural wine legends Gut Oggau, this hazy, spritzy blend of Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling walks the line between vibrant and funky. Expect the unexpected: whiffs of kombucha and farmhouse ale on the nose, with citrus pith, blossom, dried flowers and a breezy barnyard edge in the mix. On the palate, she’s all lively acidity and playful texture - think stone fruit, lemon zest and a touch of yeast, brought together with zero sulphur and 100% attitude. Theodora is made from 35-year-old vines, fermented in large old barrels, and left unfiltered, unrefined, and untouched by additives. It’s Gut Oggau’s signature: raw expression, biodynamic soul, and character in every sip. Theodora is the life of the party (any party, we reckon!).

About the Winemakers
Stephanie + Eduard Tscheppe | Gut Oggau

Stephanie and Eduard’s journey began with a shared love for wine, as many great love stories do. Stephanie coming from a family deeply embedded in the hospitality and the natural wine movement, and Eduard from a winemaking family in Styria. Their paths converged, and together, they’ve built Gut Oggau into something truly special. Since purchasing the estate in 2007, they’ve combined the diversity of their backgrounds to create wines that express their unique soils and biodynamic farming philosophy. Stephanie and Eduard’s commitment to sustainability has shaped the identity of the cult winery, which is now a beacon of the natural wine movement in Burgenland, Austria.

Gut Oggau, located near the shores of Lake Leusiedl in Burgenland, Austria, is a biodynamic haven that was once a neglected 17th-century estate. After taking over the vineyard in 2007, Stephanie and Eduard revitalised the land and embraced biodynamic farming to express the region’s distinct terroir. Their 13 hectares benefit from a sunny continental climate, ideal for naturally fermented wines. Known for championing native varieties like Blaufränkisch and Grüner Veltliner, Gut Oggau embody 'TLC' in all aspects of their winemaker approach, resulting in truly stunning wines
