Winemaker Tasting | Liz Silkman of Silkman Wines

We are so excited to be welcoming Liz Silkman of Silkman Wines for an exclusive ‘Taste with the Winemaker’ event on Thursday 12th November!

Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Liz Silkman came to wine sideways though a cellar door job at Pepper Tree, and the lab at Brokenwood before realising the winery floor was where she actually belonged. She’s become a defining force in the region, earning Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year three times (the only person to do so), and becoming the first Hunter winemaker to ever be awarded Halliday Winemaker of the Year in 2025.

Amelia was our teacher for the night and went above and beyond, really taking her time with our group to teach us about the natural wines. The selections were delicious and we learnt so much.
