2022 Mora Bannockburn Pinot Noir

Sarah Adamson is the winemaker at Mora in Central Otago, bringing a seriously well-travelled wine CV back to New Zealand’s South Island. After studying Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University, she worked vintages across New Zealand, Australia, France, Germany and the US before co-founding Scout Wines in 2017 with fellow winemaker and partner Greg Lane (Chief Winemaker at Mt Difficulty).

Sarah’s style leans towards bright, expressive wines with minimal fuss in the cellar - careful with fruit, considered with oak, and always focused on letting the vineyard show through. At Mora, she works across the estate’s Central Otago sites, including Bannockburn and Pisa, with Pinot Noir at the heart of the range.
