Nestled in the east of Austria, bordering Hungary, Burgenland is a region of wonderful contrasts - where the warmth of the Pannonian plain meets the cooling influence of the Neusiedlersee region, creating conditions unlike anywhere else in the country. It's a place that does it all; producing some of Austria's most celebrated full-bodied reds, world-class sweet wines, and everything in between. Throughout this event, we'll taste our way through what makes Burgenland so special, exploring how its climate, soils and grape varieties come together to create wines of real depth and character.
