IWM: International 'Women in Wine Day' & Amelia’s Birthday!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S MARCH 2025
A whole month of events spotlighting conversations, connection, and conscious choices in honour of IWD.

We’re closing out International Women’s March with a bang - March 25 marks the International Women in Wine Day, and as it happens, it's also my birthday (what are the chances of that, hey?!). So, of course, I’m throwing the doors open for a night full of fun! Wanna come party with me?!

This won't be just any old party though - it’s a Wine Swap Party! You'll be invited to bring a woman-made bottle of your choosing, and take a new bottle home with you. It’s an opportunity to share knowledge, connect with the Famelia community, taste something new, and walk away with a little piece of someone else’s cellar.

I’ll be pouring wines from my personal cellar, alongside plenty of delicious bites. The dress code will be green or purple - a nod to the themes of gender equality, and a little visual hurrah to cap off the month.

50% of the ticket price will be donated to the Sydney Women’s Fund

A friend and I attended one of the events held here - An Intro to Natural Wines - and WOW. Amelia was our teacher for the night and went above and beyond, really taking her time with our group to teach us about the natural wines. The selections were delicious and we learnt so much. Can't wait to come back and support!
