Taste Grower Champagne with the Winemaker ~ Tuesday 22nd July

It is our special privilege to welcome Stéphanie and Blanche Waris (mother and daughter) ~ growers and makers of Champagne Waris-Hubert.

Stéphanie, and her husband Olivier Waris, are based in Avize, a Grand Cru village of Côte des Blancs, and are now joined by their daughter and son. With this prestigious Appellation they are very fortunate to farm vineyards in the famous Grands Crus of Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Oger, Aÿ; as well as the unique terroirs of Grauves, Bisseuil and Barbonne-Fayel, Marfaux, Merrey-sur-Arce and Monthelon.

We have 4 very special Champagne cuvées to taste, including Grand Cru and Premier Cru, paired with cheeses and meats. We will hear from Stéphanie Waris (and her daughter Blanche) about their incredible 4th, and now 5th generation champagne grower/maker story, and what makes their champagne special.

This is an incredibly rare opportunity to taste boutique grower Champagne, with the winemaker here all the way from France!
