A milestone in a bottle... this is the first fully estate-grown wine from Vinteloper since the devastating Cudlee Creek fires of 2019. Crafted from 90% Shiraz (pressed like a white wine) and 10% Pinot Noir, this dry rosé is crisp, bright, and quietly complex. It opens with aromas of tropical fruit, white peach, mango and a pinch of white pepper. The palate is all juicy apple, honeydew, and green papaya with a citrusy oiliness that adds intrigue and length.

About the Winemaker
Sarah Marrocco | Vinteloper

Vinteloper is a proudly independent, first‑generation winery based in the Adelaide Hills. Founded by David Bowley, who, in his own words, started Vinteloper by deciding “on instinct, to skip through his own daisy fields,” the project began in 2008 after years of winemaking experience in Australia and France. His partner Sharon illustrates each label, making Vinteloper as much about creativity as it is about craft. Winemaking is now led by Sarah Marrocco, who joined the team in 2021 to help navigate the vineyard’s recovery after the 2019 bushfires. With a background in business management, Sarah made a bold career shift in 2017 by retraining as a winemaker, earning her degree before gaining valuable experience across Sonoma, the Yarra Valley, McLaren Vale. In 2023 she took over as Chief Winemaker and Vineyard Manager, bringing resilience, curiosity, and a fresh, expressive winemaking approach to the team. The vineyard is being lovingly restored with a focus on regenerative farming, organic practices, and ecosystem resilience... we're talking native plantings, sheep grazing, solar power, and zero pesticides.
