A bright, classic Clare Valley Riesling made with a light touch. The fruit comes from 19-year-old vines in the White Hut sub-region, sitting high at 500 metres on loamy Terra Rossa soils. Clean and racy without feeling sharp, there's plenty of zesty green apple and tart citrus to start. As it opens, there’s more depth than first meets the eye... preserved lemon, mandarin, zingy pink grapefruit. The texture is sleek but present, finishing long and dry with a soft, talc-like grip that keeps things beautifully balanced.

In a way, VineMind is Jen Gardner’s way back into the wine world. Working alongside partner Col McBryde, VineMind has a distinctly local feel to it... Clare fruit, Clare growers and wines that are precious and deeply expressive of place. It's the Clare, seen with fresh eyes.
