A striking expression of its Nagambie Lakes terroir, the 2023 MOON Chardonnay beautifully balances crisp natural acidity and savoury complexity. This vintage is defined by restrained fruit, allowing subtle citrus and stone fruit notes to mingle with a textured, almost saline minerality. There’s a definite Chenin Blanc vibe here - no new oak either, just a creamy, honeyed richness that enhances the wine’s natural vibrancy.

On the nose, it’s a heady mix of aniseed, liquorice, and underripe pineapple, creating an aromatic tension between brightness and spice. The palate is rich yet poised, unfolding into flavours of fig and almond cake, white liquorice, and set honey. This is really yummy Chard, layered and compelling, with a finish that lingers just long enough to keep you coming back for more.

Hand-harvested and wild-fermented, this Chardonnay embodies the purity of its origins, with unfiltered indigenous yeasts shaping its distinctive character. Cannot get enough!!
