About the Winemakers

Sofia and Enio Ferretti are the father-daughter duo behind La Morella, a small organic farm and winery in the hills of Tortona, Piedmont. Since 1985, Enio has been cultivating grapes, wheat, and vegetables, using only organic methods and natural fermentation.

Their wines are expressive of the local terroir and the ancient native varieties, such as Timorasso, Cortese, Barbera, and Freisa. Sofia and Enio are passionate about preserving the biodiversity and the culture of their land.
