Bright yellow with golden highlights, this Carricante is dry and structured with a beautiful minerality. Aromas of banana and bread crust are balanced by fresh acidity and a lingering, aromatic close. Vinified solely in stainless steel and aged for seven years before release, it’s a considered expression of Etna’s turbulent volcanic soils.

About the Winemaker
Alice Bonaccorsi | Val Cerasa

Set high on the northern face of Mount Etna, Alice Bonaccorsi’s ValCerasa is a family-run estate making wines that speak fluently of volcanic soil, old vines, and careful stewardship. Founded in 1997 with her husband Rosario, the winery has grown from a modest 3 hectares to 18, though production remains small to preserve quality. Certified organic and rooted in biodiversity, the vineyard is alive with spontaneous vegetation and fruit trees, with vines up to 80 years old. In the cellar, it’s all about restraint... These are wines that take their time! Now joined by their daughters, the Bonaccorsi family continues to evolve while remaining grounded in tradition.
