Janelle De Gabriele + Rhen Dodd | Ephemera

Janelle De Gabriele and Rhen Dodd are the duo behind Ephemera Wines, a project born from curiosity and a love of Victoria’s terroir. Based in King Valley, they work organically on their home vineyard while also sourcing Italian varieties from Heathcote, producing wines that capture the fleeting, vibrant moments of each site. Minimal intervention is key... natural ferments, whole bunches, and no fining or filtration. Both passionate about expressing place and vintage, Janelle and Rhen bring complementary skills and perspectives: Janelle blending technical winemaking know-how with a playful, intuitive touch in the cellar, and Rhen with a focus on vineyard vitality and hands-on cultivation.
