A shapely, mid-weight Hunter Valley Chardonnay that hits the spot. Silkman does this style so well, whilst keeping everything creamy and oh so tasty. Opening with grapefruit, white peach and nectarine before softer notes of pear and melon roll in, it's nice and toasty... with biscuity oak wafting in the background. There's a fresh acidity, with layers of citrus and spice carrying through to the end. Great with just about anything.

Born and raised in the Hunter Valley, Liz Silkman came to wine sideways though a cellar door job at Pepper Tree, and the lab at Brokenwood before realising the winery floor was where she actually belonged. She’s become a defining force in the region, earning Hunter Valley Winemaker of the Year three times (the only person to do so), and becoming the first Hunter winemaker to ever be awarded Halliday Winemaker of the Year in 2025.
