Bright and zippy, Anna’s Rosé is a Shiraz-based rosé with fruit originating from Martingale Vineyard in Gruyere, where north-west facing slopes help build flavour while keeping things fresh. A beauty, this one is all strawberries and cream, with a splash of rosewater on the nose. The palate is crisp... ripe raspberry, pink grapefruit, ample texture to stop it feeling thin. Dangerously quaffable!

Natillie Johnston | Tillie J Wines

Tillie J is the nickname, and the name on the label – but behind it is Natillie Johnston, a winemaker we just adore! Originally from the Yarra, she’s worked her way around some serious wine landmarks: Yarra Yering, Leeuwin Estate, Brokenwood, Cristom in Oregon – and somewhere along the way picked up a few Young Gun of Wine nods (plus the People’s Choice Award in 2023). After years on the road, Tillie J Wines marks her return home to the Yarra Valley, where she’s doing Chardonnay and Syrah her own way: minimal intervention and site-led.
