About the Winemakers
Véronique + Thomas Muré

Véronique and Thomas Muré are the 12th(!) generation behind Domaine Muré, carrying on their family's legacy with a perfect mix of tradition and fresh energy. After studying agronomy, viticulture, and oenology in Montpellier and Beaujolais, they returned home to Alsace and split duties - Véronique now leads on the business and admin side, while Thomas looks after the vines and winemaking. Together, they’ve taken the estate to be fully biodynamic - working with the rhythms of nature to let each vineyard site really shine.

The Winery
Domaine Muré

Domaine Muré has some serious roots - it was founded way back in 1650 by Michel Muré in the village of Westhalten. The family’s crown jewel is Clos Saint Landelin, a stunning 12-hectare monopole nestled inside the Vorbourg Grand Cru, which they’ve farmed since the 1930s. These days, the estate spans 28 hectares of organic and biodynamic vineyards across Rouffach and the surrounding villages. Everything’s done by hand - harvesting, dense planting, low yields, and a light touch in the cellar.
