Eva Fricke | Weingut Eva Fricke
Eva Fricke has redefined western Rheingau. From steep, slate- and quartzite-rich slopes in Lorch to parcels across Kiedrich, Eltville and Hattenheim, she farms organically and biodynamically, hand-tending old vines on some of the region’s most challenging hills. Her Rieslings - all fermented with native yeasts, gently pressed, and aged on lees - capture the mineral intensity of the Rheingau. Raised in Bremen and trained at Geisenheim, Eva gained experience in Bordeaux, Ribera del Duero, and Australia before returning to Rheingau to pursue her own vision. Driven by curiosity and a respect for terroir, she combines Burgundian sensibility with meticulous, hands-on viticulture to make truly beautiful wines.
