About the Winemaker

Dominika Černohorská | Vinařství Plenér

Dominika Černohorská is the winemaker behind Vinařství Plenér in Pavlov, South Moravia. She studied Viticulture and Oenology at MENDELU and worked at Vinařství Volařík before co-founding Plenér with with her friend, orthodontist, Ivo Marek in 2016.

Dominika works with vineyards across Pálava and nearby South Moravian sites, with a focus on ecological farming, healthy soils and low-intervention winemaking. Plenér’s wines are made to reflect site and vintage, using organically grown fruit and minimal cellar intervention. In 2025, Plenér was named Czech Winery of the Year and received the inaugural Vinatura sustainability award.
