About the Winemakers
Antoinella Gerosa + Massimo Marchiori | Partida Creus
Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori were both architects in Piedmont, Italy, before making a radical life change — trading blueprints for vineyards when they relocated to the remote village of Bonastre in Catalonia's Baix Penedès around 2000. Drawn to the philosophies of Slow Food International, the pair began growing their own produce and, finding no local wines that matched their values, started making their own. Rescuing abandoned vineyards planted with forgotten indigenous varieties, they transformed Partida Creus into a living museum of Catalan grapes— crafting wines of infectious energy, zero sulphur additions, and unapologetic wildness.
