Alanna Lagamba | Vin de LaGamba

Alanna Lagamba is a natural wine producer making wine under the name Vin de Lagamba. Alanna comes from Canada, but moved to Germany where she soon fell in love with wine, viticulture, and fellow winemaker Martin Wörner of Marto Wines. Passionate about starting her own project, she asked Martin for Pinot Noir. With only one small vineyard he’d planted five years earlier that he was excited to finally make wine from, he said no. But he offered her Dornfelder, a grape he didn’t know what to do with. she used the unused Dornfelder vines on his plot in Rheinhessen, and soon the iconic FrauenPower was born, boosted using a splash of Silvaner.
