A Chenin Blanc like you’ve never met before. This third edition of 'Silence' brings together flor-aged wines from 2020–2023...Think stewed yellow apples, ripe bosc pear, pickled ginger, and leesy sourdough on the nose. The palate is layered and creamy, with apricot and yellow apple, a subtle buttery-toffee thread, and a playful weave of cinnamon and ginger spice. Punchy acidity and a saline finish keep it nice and taut... 'Silently' growing in nuance with every release. I just love it.

Samantha Suddons is the fearless winemaker behind VineVenom, a boutique label out of Swartland, South Africa obsessed with texture and tension. She trained at Mullineux, Reyneke, and the Cape Wine Academy, then struck out to make wines her way... natural, minimal and expressive. From flor-aged Chenin Blanc soleras in the rugged Paardeberg to zero-dosage Cap Classiques in cool Elgin, Samantha’s wines are vibrant and electric. Each bottle is hands-on, patient and unapologetically alive.
