2024 Biscaris ‘Costa Jatta’ Frappato (table wine)

Biscaris is a small, family-run estate in Acate, the heart of Sicily’s Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. Run by Antonia Guardabasso and her daughter-in-law, Veronica Gentoli, it’s a true family affair, most of the team are relatives, and everything is done by hand. Their vines sit between sea and mountain breezes on red, mineral-rich soils that give the wines their trademark salty snap. Biodynamic and proudly old-school, Biscaris keeps things simple: stainless steel, no fining, no filtering, just honest, characterful wines that taste like Sicily.
