'Classic Wines' Pack ~ November 2025
A mix of well-known and much-loved classics, but like, really REALLY good.
November's Classic Wines 3-Pack includes:
1. NV Bellebonne ‘Bis’ Blanc
Chardonnay | Pipers Brook, TAS | Natalie Fryar | Bellebonne
Delicate white flowers blend effortlessly with lemon curd, toasty shortbread and white nectarine. The palate is elegance defined, with a long finish of fresh cream and preserved lemon. ‘Bis’ is French for ‘the space in-between’, which encapsulates the process and inspiration it took to make this exquisite non-vintage blanc. In the cellar, Bellebonne follows traditional méthode champenoise practices—hand-picking, whole-bunch pressing, extended lees ageing and minimal dosage—crafted with precision and restraint. The wines show remarkable poise and detail: crystalline acidity, fine bead and savoury depth balanced by elegance and length.
2. 2024 Krinklewood Francesca Rosé
Mataro, Merlot | Broke Fordwich, Hunter Valley NSW | Valentina Moresco | Krinklewood
Pure picnic magic... Sunshine in a glass... whatever you want to call it, this 2024 Krinklewood Francesca Rosé is a delicately pink, impossibly dry beauty made from Mourvèdre and Merlot. Handpicked early and gently pressed with minimal skin contact, each parcel was fermented separately before blending to let the grapes show off their best qualities. The result is a sensationally perfumed rosé bursting with soft petals (you guessed, rose!), ripe strawberries, and fragrant citrus blossoms, combining a bright, textural palate that’s impossibly drinkable. Whether you’re sprawled on a blanket, enjoying a breezy lunch, or just dreaming of Provence from your backyard, this is a great bottle to have close at hand. The 2024 vintage brought tricky weather (hello, El Niño), but the careful hand of the Krinklewood team and their organic, biodynamic approach means the fruit shines, delivering freshness, vibrancy, and joy in every sip.
3. 2024 Bande Apart Cabernet Franc
Cabernet Franc | Coonawarra, SA | Jess DiGiorgio | Bande Apart
Coonawarra might be best known for its bold Cabernets, but this Cab Franc shows a softer, brighter side of the region. The cool climate and famous terra rossa soils give this one a distinct herbal edge... think eucalyptus, black pepper and roasted capsicum, while still delivering plenty of juicy red fruit. Leaning into freshness over heft and light on its feet, the palate is alive with cranberry and hibiscus, all wrapped up in fine, stalky tannins.
