'Natural Wines' Pack ~ October 2025
The Gen-Z of wine boxes. Lo-fi, skinsy, sulfur-free, FUN-ky!
October's Natural Wines 3-Pack includes:
1. 2023 Vinteloper Black Label ‘Skins’ Pinot Gris Gewürztraminer Riesling
Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling | Adelaide Hills, SA | Sarah Marrocco | Vinteloper
Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Riesling walk into a winery and.... we get 'Skins', a supremely gorgeous and juicy skin-contact blend that screams Summer! Pineapple, rosewater and Turkish delight, a little ginger heat, and a finish that snaps tight with Riesling’s citrusy crunch. It’s textural and mouth-filling thanks to time on skins, but still light on its feet. This is Vinteloper’s Black Label playground in full swing: minimal intervention, no fining, and plenty of fun. Made from fruit across the Adelaide Hills and Clare Valley.
2. 2024 Heya ‘Kanz’ (treasure) Grenache Syrah
Grenache, Syrah | Batroun, LEB | Claudine Lteif + Michelle Chami | Heya Wines
Named after the Arabic word for treasure, Kanz is a carbonic macerated blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%) from the mountains of Batroun, Lebanon. It’s a chillable red packed with dried florals, juicy red plum, cherry, a touch of spice and some funk on the nose. Light and dry, a bit chalky, Kanz is all about texture and balance. Crafted by Claudine Lteif and Michelle Chami using organic, hands-on farming and native yeasts, it’s a wine that reflects both land and labour.. and tastes even better knowing the entire process was handled by an all-women team, right down to the label on the glass.
3. 2022 Domaine La Calmette ‘Trespotz’ Malbec
Malbec | Trespoux-Rassiels, Cahors, FR | Maya Sallée + Nicolas Fernandez | Domaine la Calmette
Malbec often gets boxed in as big and brooding, but this one flips the script on that entirely. Trespotz is grown high in the hills of Cahors, where cooler temps and limestone soils bring brightness and structure to balance all that plush, juicy fruit. Made from 90% Malbec and 10% Merlot, it’s a blend of all three soil types found on the domaine (red clay, marl, and kimmeridgian) hence the name Trespotz (three wells). Lip-smacking red fruit, gentle spice, a mineral shimmer. A total joy to drink.
